Our Raw Materials

Gold Filled

Gold-filled is a layered metal. The outer surface is made of 14K gold, which makes up about 5% of the total weight of the piece.
It is not solid gold, but it offers a more durable and long-lasting alternative to gold plating.
The gold layer does not peel or wash off with water exposure, but it is not resistant to scratches or long-term wear.
To preserve your jewelry, we recommend removing it at home and avoiding wearing it during activities such as cleaning or exercising.

To extend the life of your jewelry, avoid applying perfume directly to the necklace or wearing it in water for prolonged periods.

14K Solid Gold

What is a karat?

A karat measures the percentage of pure gold in the gold alloy.
Pure Gold is mixed with different metals, which affects its color and flexibility, among other things.
Pure gold, 24 karat or Fine gold, contains 100% gold.
14K gold accounts for 58.5% of the metal’s weight.

How Does Yellow Gold Become White?

Pure gold has a naturally rich yellow hue. To create white gold, it is blended with white-toned metals like palladium, silver, or nickel — forming a lighter alloy.
However, even after this process, the metal still carries a soft yellow tint.

To achieve the brilliant white finish we recognize as white gold, the piece is coated with rhodium — a rare and highly reflective precious metal.
Rhodium not only gives the jewelry its luminous, silvery appearance, but also adds a protective layer that enhances durability and shine.

⚠️ Over time, rhodium plating may wear off due to regular use and contact with the skin.
When this happens, the white luster can be restored by replating the piece with rhodium, bringing back its original brilliance.

925 Sterling silver

925 sterling silver is a premium-quality alloy composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper, to enhance strength and durability without compromising the beauty of the metal.

While sterling silver is known for its bright luster and timeless appeal, it may naturally oxidize over time.
Oxidation is a surface reaction that occurs when silver comes into contact with air, moisture, or acidic substances.
Since silver jewelry is worn directly on the skin, factors like body sweat, pH levels, and humidity may accelerate this process.
It’s important to note that oxidation varies from person to person, depending on individual body chemistry.

How to Help Prevent Oxidation:

– Wear your silver jewelry regularly – natural skin oils can help protect the metal.
– Avoid storing jewelry in humid or damp environments.
– Do not apply perfume, lotions, or sprays directly onto the jewelry.
– Remove before entering sulfur-rich environments such as the Dead Sea.
– Avoid contact with household cleaning products or harsh chemicals.

With proper care, 925 sterling silver will retain its brilliance and character for many years.

Blackened Silver

This is 925 sterling silver that has been intentionally oxidized to achieve a dark finish.
The blackened layer may fade over time due to contact with skin, sweat, and body acidity.
To preserve the look, avoid contact with perfumes, moisture, and harsh cleaning agents.

Leather

We use high-quality genuine leather, but like all natural materials, it naturally ages and wears over time.
To preserve its appearance and flexibility, it is best to avoid contact with water or moisture.
Applying leather conditioner or natural oil occasionally can help keep the leather nourished and beautiful.
Over time, the leather may stretch slightly and develop changes in color and texture.

Gemstones

Gemstones are natural materials, not glass.
Each stone is unique and may feature small internal lines or inclusions, which are part of its natural texture.
Color variations are normal and may appear different depending on the individual stone and the lighting in photos.

Natural Pearl

Natural pearls have a unique, organic texture and may show slight surface variations.
These are part of their natural beauty and character.
To preserve their luster, avoid direct contact with perfume.
Apply perfume before putting on your pearl jewelry, as certain ingredients can damage the pearl’s surface over time.
