Pure gold is yellow, so how does it turn to white?
The first step is creating an alloy of gold and white tinted metals. After this step, the metal still has a yellow tint. To get the chrome hue we know, the metal is coated with Radium.
Radium is one of the most precious metals in the world, and its color is white-silver. It’s used for coating white gold and gives the jewel a highly glossed finish, creating a protective layer against scratches.
With time, the Radium coating may wear down. This is affected by the frequency with which the jewelry is worn and the amount of friction with the skin.
The chrome look can be restored only by coating the jewel again.

All our jewelry is handmade in our studio, and manufacturing time is between 3-8 business days.
