Gold-filled is a “filled” metal. The outer surface is 14K gold, which accounts for 5% of the piece’s weight.
The gold layer does not come off in contact with water but is not immune to scratches and erosion.
It would be best to keep the jewelry. When you get home, remove it and not wear it out doing housework, etc.

All our jewelry is handmade in our studio, and manufacturing time is between 1 and 4 business days.
